Natoma High School Sends Record Number of Students to State Speech and Drama Championship
Natoma High School’s Forensics team is making history this spring, sending a record 11 students to the Kansas State Speech and Drama Championship on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in McPherson.
As a team, Natoma will compete with 16 total entries against other 1A schools from across Kansas, marking one of the program’s strongest showings to date.
The students representing NHS at the state level include:
-
Seniors: Sophia Robison
-
Juniors: Lynae Paget, Sierra Jackson, Reese Taylor
-
Sophomores: Adee Arnold, Annaleise Bland, Aaleah Christiansen, Kennedy Wasson
-
Freshmen: Kyla Erickson, Gabriel MacConnell, Jade Jackson, Aden Oathout
This year’s qualification is especially significant, as it represents the largest number of students Natoma High School has ever sent to the State Championships.
The team is coached by Mrs. Shari Paget, who has guided the group through a successful season of competition leading up to this milestone achievement.
The Natoma community wishes these students the best of luck as they compete at the state level and represent their school on a larger stage.
