Senior Profile - Ashton Lund

The Web Page Design class is highlighting a Senior on the school web site. They were asked to answer the following questions: 

1. Future plans (college, work, etc.). Include where you will attend and what your major will be (if known) or what type of work you will be searching for. 

My future plans are to attend Colby or NCTA in Curtis, Nebraska to become a vet tech. While attending school I would like to intern at a vet clinic. 

2. What extra-curricular activity during the school year did you enjoy the most? Why? 

My favorite would be track with my teammates + coaches. Practice isn't always fun but the trip to meets are as fun as competing.

3. What is your favorite memory you made while in high school?

My favorite memory would be my time at the state events 1st when I got 8th in state track and a new school record in state cross country while placing, next cheering on the boys to win the state football game. 

4. What are some important lessons you have learned so far in your life? 

Respect others, you never know what they are going through, help those you can. 

5. What advice would you give to underclassmen now that you are a Senior? 

Work hard don't take it for granted, it will be your turn before you know it. Take the chances you get. 

6. What will you miss about high school?

I will miss competing in sports the most + my teammates that are always there.  I can't forget my classmates for helping get teachers off topic. 

7. What would your dream job be? 

I would love to work with large animals everyday, whether it is in a clinic or a house call. 

8. Name one thing that you would like to do during your lifetime. (other than your career). 

I would like to travel to Hawaii to see the ocean and flowers as well as many other places.
