District Spelling Bee held on February 10
The USD 399 district spelling bee was held on Wednesday, February 10 at 9:00 a.m. Eight competitors (2 each from Grades 5-8) began the competition. Those eight were Isabelle Cotterill (8), Kizzie Shelton (8), Caylie Lyle (7), Madison Rupp (7), Austin Hoisington (6), Lynae Paget (6), Hayden Alexander (5), and Camdyn Makings (5). The winner, Hayden, correctly spelled the word "snorkels" and was awarded the champion plaque. Camdyn was second and Madison was third. Congratulations to each of them and we look forward to them competing at the County Bee later in the month.
