NATOMA BOYS REPEAT AS REGIONAL CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONS

On a cool morning at Regional Cross Country on Saturday, October 24 the Natoma boys came to run and defend their title from 2014.  There were 57 runners and 8 teams competing for the right to run at Wamego on Saturday, October 31.  Dean Masters once again led the Tigers with a 2nd place finish in 18:01.  Taitem Zeigler ran a time of 18:23 for 5th place.  The top 10 finishers received medals and the top four from each team counted toward the team points.  Finishing in 25th was Grady Dickerson at 19:42 followed by James Maupin at 19:56 for 30th place.  Dylan Pruter was 30th in 20:23.  These five runners all had personal bests with these times.  Our other runner, Joey Raat fought off an injury to finish in 51st place.  If all runners are healthy, the Tigers should challenge again this year at State to defend the title from a year ago.
