Girls with 3rd place plaque

Both the boys and girls high school track teams are enjoying a very successful season.  At the meet on Tuesday, May 6th, the boys 4 x 800 relay team (Jacob Chambray, Dean Masters, Joey Raat, and Jackson Stull Meiers) broke the school record that was set at the State Meet last year.  Their time was 8 minutes 33.90 seconds.   The previous record was 8 minutes 43.03 seconds.  Jacob, Joey, and Jackson were members of last year's team while Dean is a newcomer to the event.  Overall, the boys finished in second out of 16 teams while the girls (with only four team members) finished third of 16 teams.  Both teams brought home plaques for their efforts.  Complete individual results can be found by clicking Tescott Invitational.  Two pictures are shown and can be viewed by clicking on the picture.  Boys team members not shown include Jackson Stull Meiers, Thai Nguyen, and Jimmy Tang.
