3rd and 4th Grades Compete in Local Spelling Bee
On Monday, May 6, the 3rd and 4th graders at Natoma Elementary competed in a local Spelling Bee. Students spelled words orally in front of two judges as Mr. Geist served as the pronouncer for the event. The Spelling Bee lasted seven rounds before winners were declared. Camdyn Makings earned 1st prize after spelling the word “kibble.” Lucy Alexander earned 2nd place and Brody Conlin received 3rd place. This local Spelling Bee helps prepare the students for the district competition that is open to students in 5th-8th grade. Congratulations to all of our spellers!
