Paradise Spelling Bee
The Paradise spelling bee was held on Thursday, January 18. Students fought long and hard to be the best speller they could be. In the end we finally had three remaining spellers. Elsie Finkenbinder (6th grade) was named the Champion. Jeremy Bray (8th grade) and Emma Finkenbinder (6th grade) finished in the 2nd and 3rd, respectively. Other contestants were Derek George (8th grade), KC Conlin(7th grade), Ricky Mayberry (7th grade), Emily Cheek (5th grade), and Rylee Conlin (5th grade). All eight of these students will compete in the Russell County Bee on January 29th.
