In the Spirit of Christmas

In the Spirit of Christmas, the annual Angel Tree project brought the "reason for the season" to life in Natoma. The annual event is organized by the "Tis the Season" committee, Bonnie Rubottom, and the Natoma FFA. Children's wish lists were posted on a Christmas tree in Angel Accounting. Citizens were given the opportunity to choose an angel and to shop for the needy child. Natoma High School FFA students (left-right) Austin Murphy, Dylan Pruter, and Sonny Gridley gathered the gifts for wrapping on the first day of winter. Their FFA chapter continues to carry out the motto: "Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve". Natoma High School students will also bring "glad tidings" to area elderly men and women through personal visits with candy canes and fruit.
