Zeigler and Chrisler are medalists at State Cross Country

The weather was very cooperative for State Cross Country on Saturday, October 29.  At times it was a little warm as the temperature was around 85 degrees.  Taitem Zeigler started at 10:00 a.m. in a big way as he finished in the 6th position of 91 runners.  The top 20 medal and this is his second year in row to do so, increasing from last year's 11th place finish.  He ran a very good race and finished in front of some runners that beat him at the Regional meet. His time was 17:48.73.  Next up for the Tigers was Kayley Chrisler.  She ran 22:52.35 to finish 20th among 80 runners.  It wasn't her best time of the year but on a tough course it was good enough for the final medal.

This brings to an end the high school careers of Zeigler and Chrisler.  Dylan Pruter and James Maupin ended their high school years at the League meet on October 13.  Congratulations to each of them on representing the school, community, and themselves in tremendous fashion.

A big thank you to the cheerleaders and the community members for their send off prior to the State meet.  The support received is very much appreciated.
