THANKS TO ALL OF OUR FAITHFUL SUPPORTERS, OUR SCHOOL HAS WON THE FIRST ROUND OF THE MASCOT MANIA CONTEST. A $1000 PRIZE WILL BE DONATED TO THE ATHLETIC FUND. HOWEVER TO WIN THE MASCOT COSTUME, WE MUST CONTINUE TO VOTE!! THE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE ON NOVEMBER 4TH AT 10:00 P.M.
KAKE-TV is giving away a new mascot uniform to the winner of the 2nd annual Mascot Mania contest. Fans may vote 1 time per day. The winning school is determined by number of votes/number of students enrolled in their school. Highest ratio of votes wins. It is sponsored by Wichita State University and KAKE-TV. Voting continues through October 8th when the five highest scoring schools (1 in each region) are named. Since schools are scored based on the number of votes as compared to the student population are chances are very good to win our region. But you must vote! The region winners will receive a $1000 regional prize. Mascot Mania's “Final 5” will conclude with the winning high school announced on Friday, November 4th in the KAKE 10pm news.
