TIGERS SEND 8 ATHLETES TO STATE TRACK MEET

The Tiger Track team had an excellent day at the Regional meet on Friday, May 22.  To qualify for State, competitors must place in the top four.  Kourtney Grafel tied for 3rd in the high jump to send her to Wichita for a fourth consecutive year in that event.  She has been a medalist each year.  Regan Casey was the champion in both the 100 hurdles and shot put.  The shot put mark was a new school record, breaking her own record set in 2013.  This is her third year to compete at State in these events.  Jacob Chambray returns for his third year in the 4 x 800 relay along with Joey Raat (3rd year), Taitem Zeigler (1st), and Grady Dickerson (1st).  They were gold medalists in this event.  Jacob also qualified for the second year in the 3200.  He will be joined by Bryce Ginther, who also qualifed in the 1600.  Bryce is a newcomer to the State meet.  Joey Raat will represent Natoma in the long jump, triple jump, and high jump (all 1st year events for him).  Qualifying in the 400 and 800 is Dean Masters (1st year for these but was a member of the 4 x 800 last year).  To view complete results click REGIONAL RESULTS 2015.
