First and Second Grade Students Make a Fall Picture

The first and second grade students made a fall picture. It was a multi-step project. First the students had to draw with their crayons a fall scene with pumpkins, a fall tree, and four other fall items. They could have added more if they wished. After coloring the picture the students painted the entire picture with a blue watercolor. Last they had to glue a picture of themselves into their fall drawing. It was not any picture of themselves, but a picture of them pretending to fall. The students enjoyed the many steps it took to complete these pictures and they are proudly displayed out in the hall by the first grade room.
